There’s a new opportunity coming your way. Can you see it, yet?
Let’s dive into that word: “Expectation” The word expectation makes me think of the women with the issue of blood. (Mark 5: 25-34)
This sister had high expectations, even after living in 12 years of agony and bankrupt from paying for all her medical bills. One disappointment after another, but she still didn’t give up. She kept believing for a better outcome and nothing was going to stop her from getting to Jesus.
I love how one translation reads: she kept saying to herself, “If I could touch even his clothes, I know I will be healed.” (vs. 28)
Wow, did you catch that? She was intentional with her words.
She was determined. She showed up on that day expecting a miracle to happen. She received her healing because she was expecting it.
The law of expectation says, if you expect small things, you’re get small things. If you expect big things, you’re more likely to get big things.
What are your expectations for 2022? What are you believing God for this year? Don’t overthink it…Just say it. If you haven’t already, I want you to write your expectations down.
