God, Are You There?

God, are you there? Is God taking too long to come through for you? Don’t get discouraged during the silent period. We all experience God’s silence at times. Sometimes God says nothing! 

Have you ever really wanted something so bad, well you thought you really wanted it, but years later you were so happy God didn’t answer that prayer?

I have, and boy, I’m so glad God did it his way, not my way!  God always has a reason for His delays. Maybe God has a better plan for you.

The Israelites, God’s chosen people, were slaves in Egypt. The Lord had given them the promise that one day they would be freed from slavery and taken to the Promised Land. 

However, when they faced opposition and they weren’t freed exactly when they thought they would be, they lost hope. They became discouraged and refused to listen to God anymore.
They magnified their current situation instead of trusting in the Lord.

God is still there. He hears but it’s always His timing and not ours.

God kept his promise to the Israelites. He delivered them out of Egypt and into the Promised Land.

No matter how long it may take, never assume God has abandoned you. When God is silent anticipate a move like never before. 

I’ve learned to Trust and Rest in the Lord.
TRUST He knows best, don’t stress. REST in the Lord.
He may not come when you want Him but He’s always on time.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9, ESV)

Declaration: I will not lose hope, I choose to trust and rest in the Lord.
